I am DJing and producing music for over 20 years. Having earned masters’ degrees in both Information and Computer Engineering (University of Cambridge) and Saxophone Performance (Royal Northern College of Music), Alastair has a strong interest in the fusion of live saxophone performance with electronic effects, backings, and enhancements to create often previously undiscovered sound-worlds. Alastair is a Professor of Saxophone at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is a City Music Foundation Artist, Park Lane Group Artist, BBC Introducing Artist, Live Music Now Artist and a Yeoman of the Worshipful Company of Musicians. Symbolic Soul was born and raised in the Jazzy vibration within New Orleans, Louisiana, but later on transported to the historic mark of Alamo city known as San Antonio, Texas where she had discovered what God purposed from her crosses. Taking pain from abuse and transforming it into a sole mission and joy in heart Symbolic Soul utilized a preparation to minister by healing lost and broken souls through her electrifying existence in a poetic style. Graduating as PHI THETA KAPPA in the honor society she pursued further to obtain a degree in sociology, while constructing the blueprinted format of becoming an electrifying singer, writer, lyricist, and performer. Symbolic Soul has enchanted spectators with her libretto in church groups, night clubs, Podcasts, wireless telegraphy, live performances, being an actress, appearing in SA Monthly Magazine, and through her stand as a Spiritual Life Coach. Outputting her joy in life Symbolic Soul reconstructed towards healing souls by striving through the outspoken rhythmic roar that echoed far and near imprinting words of LOVE. Acquiescing that God isn’t finished with her yet, Symbolic Soul walks upon the bricks that her Father so lays before path’s Foot printed purpose and as a published author of “HEALING SOULS” Turning Pain Into Purpose
