Indie Rock / Alternative Rock / Pop Four nerds from Leipzig (Germany) creating socially critical lyrics with a touch of humor while finding a new way to interpret rock music – this is what makes up the band PLANTING TREES. The four met in October 2020 due to a social media post singer Paolo and bassist Chris created. Guitarist Jakob and drummer Felix were among the first people to respond to the ad, and after the first band practice the post got deleted because the band was set. The first few months were a roller-coaster between writing a complete song together in 2 hours and staying at home for several weeks because of COVID, but in the end the four stuck together and took part in the "SPH Music Master" band contest, where they made it through to the semifinal in late 2022. Since this success PLANTING TREES has focused on recording their first album. Now in October 2023 they are releasing their first single "Heroes of the New Age" - and that's only the beginning.

Born and raised in a small town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where I fell in love with HipHop wanted to be like my older cousins who rocked LL Cool J Rakim Bigdaddykane and many more in there stereo systems from then on I couldn’t live without my radio.
