Nu-lofi music by Katnap. David Lowe is a British born producer, music entrepreneur, innovator and DJ. His artist projects are LUCKYKAT & Katnap. He created the genres "Nu-lofi" & "High Contrast" after being frustrated trying to fit in with other artists & genres. His goal as a sound scientist is to create his own sound. He creates music to raise awareness for mental health. He attended the School of Sound Recording in Manchester, England. David started his musician life by playing violin and then switched to guitar, bass, drums and vocals. His roots are electronic so seeing how electronic music and DAWs could enable producers to make powerful music from their own homes, he set out to learn and perfect the craft of electronic music production. David releases his music on his own Katnap Music & has been featured on radio stations, blogs & podcasts around the world. Having already visited 32 countries and lived in 4, he wants to combine his love for travel by touring around the world.
