Born in Reno, Nevada, and raised in Las Vegas. Kid Owl, is an independent talented new artist. He may be fresh to the hip-hop scene, but he’s very passionate about music. He grew up in Section 8 housing, in a home marred by domestic violence, he was later placed in foster care for four years before being adopted. Music became his outlet for these hard times. Since before he could remember, he has been memorizing Eminem's lyrics and taking influence from Lil Wayne. His view of music was permanently altered when he came across Tyler, the Creator, whose pure expression was key to forming Kid Owl’s artistry. He wasn't serious with music until winning the late rapper XXXTENTACION’s #thehelpinghandchallenege, where he filmed himself giving water and blankets to the homeless. Kid Owl’s most recent album, Praying for My Downfall, includes songs like “Depth” and “Praying for My Downfall” both of which made a big impact on his music career. The album nearly tripled the streams from his last. Kid Owl has recently collaborated and received a co-signs from, Tes X, 10kCaash, Klimax, and Nick Mira. He has worked with many notable producers including Nick Mira, who is notable for producing many platinum hits. As the artist himself says, “I want to show people that no matter what race you are, no matter where you came from, you can make something out of nothing. And that as long as you put your mind to something you can do it.”
