John Arango, también conocido como Jhoncito Arango, es un destacado poeta y artista visual originario de Medellín, Colombia. Su versatilidad abarca diversos campos, incluyendo la escritura de guiones, la dirección, la edición de video, el color grading y la actuación. Como pionero en el ámbito de las series web en Colombia, Arango ha dejado una huella significativa en el panorama audiovisual del país. Su serie más emblemática, “Yonkis” (2011), fue la primera serie de contenido LGBTI en Colombia. Posteriormente, “Mentes Alternas” (2014-2022) recibió una nominación a los Premios Twitter Colombia 2015 y se destacó como una de las producciones más populares de su época. Hasta la fecha, ha dirigido cinco series web y ha trabajado en una amplia gama de videos musicales, comerciales y campañas a nivel nacional. En el ámbito musical, Arango explora un estilo experimental que fusiona la poesía contemporánea con influencias de rock alternativo. Ha lanzado dos álbumes digitales, “Un Día al Año” (2015) y “Soñé” (2016), ambos acompañados de sencillos y videos promocionales.
