Merchants of Venice were a progressive punk band from Provo, Utah. They were known in the local scene for their unique and complex songs, and for their raw and energetic live performances. As of August 2024, they are on Indefinite hiatus. Their self titled album includes a wide range of styles including Punk, Rock, Pop, Blues, Funk, Metal, Chamber, Folk and Expirimental. Most of the album was self recorded and self produced, with all but one of the sessions taking place at the Provo City Library. Additional production is from Brian Ziske and Andrew Hack.
