Damn Coyote Chris has been a figure in the Albertan cultural scene for over 35 years. With multiple credits in Music, Writing and Visual Art, creativity has always been of primary focus. Chris has been the creative force behind Them Damn Coyotes (active between 1992-2012): a mainstay of Alberta’s Stoner Rock and Hardcore scene. TDC played through the late 90’s and topping the Alberta independent music charts in the early 2000’s. As well as appearing on several independent movie soundtracks. An accomplished singer/songwriter, Chris uses Blues, Jazz and Classical guitar work along with a lyrical style which combined helps to create a unique musical voice in his songs. Chris is currently contributing guitar work to acclaimed independent artists The Renee Rockarts Band, as well as Long Story Records recording artists Sofa Gnomes. Departures, Damn Coyote Chris’ latest release is an honest and personal collection of comfort-food songs from his "Private Reserve". 100% human generated, these all-natural musical compositions span such topics as life, mortality, and emotional intelligence. Humour and practical philosophy are prevalent in this anthology making it deeply human and heartfelt.
