Reed was forced to take piano lessons at age 5, but later he chose to take music theory classes for his Bachelor's in Art (where he made the mistake of writing songs with parallel 5ths!). For his Master's decree he was mentored by David J. Bondelevitch, president of the Motion Picture Sound Editors union in Hollywood. He studied the art of sound in storytelling with Midge Costin and Richard Burton, directing musicians and composers with Kenny Hall and sound theory and technology with Tomlinson Holman. Today he works with professional composers, musicians and artists to have as much fun as possible making music and telling a musical story! His musical interests range from the sacred refrain to the escapist's absurdity. He believes that reality lies somewhere in-between these extremes. Please enjoy a bit of both and maybe even sing along... Si l'art est la vie, la musique est le glaçage !
