Dillon Lamb (Dilz) is a New Zealand based song writer, producer, engineer and established hip hop artist with over a decade of experience in the industry. His debut album 'Metamorphosis' debuted at #2 on the New Zealand Hip Hop charts. He has since continued to expand his ever diversifying fan base as he prepares to make his statement in Aotearoa's music scene blending the sounds from the underground with the vibes of the mainstream. In 2023, Dilz officially founded 'Making a Statement Entertainment' after many trials and tribulations faced whilst attempting to establish himself in Aotearoa's music scene, including a publicised legal dispute with his former record label and falling victim to scams sanctioned by trusted figures within our industry. 2024 saw the return of Dilz to the forefront of NZ's Hip Hop scene, joining forces with Joshy E to deliver their collaborative project, 'Fire With Fire EP'. Behind the scenes, Dilz has been hard at work producing and engineering a collaborate project titled 'Say Less' with newly signed artist, King Cass. Danny V, First record he played was of Jean-Michel Jarre and that was many years ago, but since he was hooked on electronic music. Throughout the years he also became interested in other music styles. With the upcoming of the Italo-disco scene, also electronic music became more danceable and he had found his true passion with the four-on-the-floor electronic beats. As many, he started fumbling with audio equipment and computers. When later Trance music was introduced he knew this was the feel he was looking for. The beats, bass, the melodic soundscape….. hooked forever! Throughout the years producing music became his passion. Although the styles of his tracks are still very diverse, since a few years his focus became more on Melodic-, Electronic and Deep Progressive sounds encouraged by the style of Frisky Radio and Mashk. His music is like a story, a story what is told through music, in which trying to create an atmospheric event leading you through the track.
