Born Jan. 31 2001, HBK KIDO is an Alternative Lo-Fi Hip-Hop artist from the westside of Detroit. He started releasing music in 2017 at 16 years old with struggling soundcloud tracks that featured poor mixing and mic presence. In December of 2019 he would go on to release the first of his critically acclaimed album series ANAUEL. With the two-part first volume ANAUEL (A Side) and the Second installment ANAUEL (B Side) dropping on SoundCloud later that following year. Since 2019 HBK KIDO has released 17+ Albums & EP’s Majority on Soundcloud and streaming platforms under the Former names Qundalini KIDO & Gaia Basquiat. As of 2024 HBK KIDO is working on multiple albums including the highly anticipated Liber Oz. Heading his independent Hip-Hop/R&B label [SYN]republic KIDO has a mark to leave on the world, and he’ll make sure he does just that.
