Formed in 2023 in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, Rejoice In Our Suffering is primarily a Christian black metal and dark ambient project. Though it often performs music in other extreme genres that are particularly experimental, it retains its core of straight forward black metal. Its lyrical themes revolve around personal struggles and mental illness through a lens of Christian faith, and explores darker themes within Christian living.
Lay Santos, Havana/Cuba. I've been making music since I was little, singing since I was 2, playing drums and guitar since I was 13. In 2005 I finished my Bachelor of arts at the "Escuela de Instructores de Arte - Eduardo Garcia Delgado" in Havana. Since then I have worked for different musicians, such as " El Yonki ", " Adriano DJ " and " Srta. Dayana" (cuban artists). I had the pleasure to sharing stage with Alexander Delgado "Gente de Zona" and others. Since 2018 I live in Germany and started my family here. I work as a music teacher at a music school, make drum videos for Youtube and write songs and produce them in my small studio.
