Babby TD is where I deal with inner child stuff and shadow work, without trying to make it clean or theoretical. This started very early for me. I once got close to someone deeply involved in spiritual practice and ended up translating a whole book for her about working with the inner child. That experience stuck with me. Making music about this felt obvious. The idea itself was strong enough, and I never questioned whether it made sense or not. I don’t regret doing it for a second. Babby TD became the place where I could allow playfulness, vulnerability, irony, and discomfort to exist next to each other. Only later did I realize how much this work mirrored what was happening outside of music: creativity tightening, ownership taking shape, play being questioned. The inner child and the shadow king weren’t metaphors I invented to comment on anything — they were already there. Reality just caught up. For me, the inner child is that part that presses record before asking for permission — curious, playful, sometimes naïve, but alive. The shadow king is the opposite: control, rules, seriousness, the voice that says “this should be handled properly.” Some albums are more constructed, others more direct. The Temptation Opera was built like an opera, but with modern tracks and even some glam-rock moments. Inner Realms is probably my favorite, because it’s the most direct form of working with myself. The King’s Court became the most visible one and somehow ended up in my top 10.

Everything about Vessels United, one of the few faith-based music families in the UK, feels modern. From their refusal to be boxed in by any one genre, to their determination to ground their Gospel in a real, relatable context, Vessels United are carving out a path as one of the most exciting new acts in the Gospel industry. The Manchester-based group comprises husband and wife duo, Lucky and Busola, alongside their son and daughter, David and Ofure. With David keeping the energy levels high on the drums and Lucky, Busola and Ofure offering slick, impressive vocals, Vessels United lace their music with a familial sense of warmth. Lucky, the last of seven children, has always had harmonies and melodies in his blood. His father had his own band back in Nigeria, while he also had brothers and nephews that decided to pursue music.
Transient and energetic, always moving—a sound that somehow stays with you long after the experience. More then anything, it just sounds GREAT, and with all that, it
Washington native singer/songwriter currently living in Reno, Nv. Over the course of her career, singer songwriter/guitar player Karrie O’Neill has brought unique styles and emotions to those who have supported the music she creates. Her ability to manipulate her vocals to belt out Patty LaBelle as well as the whisper-like tones of Nora Jones has brought her audiences throughout a night from clapping and cheering one moment to crying in the next as she captures the emotions of the songs, she performs with her guitar playing and vocals.
