Erica is a Johannesburg-born and bred singer-songwriter. The earliest memory she has of doing music is the first song she ever wrote, at the tender age of 3. She has gone through life doing music at every opportunity, joining the school choir and learning to play the piano, guitar, and drum kit during her school career. She is also academically inclined, so she always strives to work hard on both fronts. From an academic perspective, Erica has 4 degrees, namely a BSc, BSc (Hons), MSc, and MBA. She then went on to pursue a career in corporate, and was quite successful at it. However, she always knew that her calling was music, and now, she is a full-time singer, songwriter, and performer. Erica released her first official album in 2021 entitled “Rise”, with the title track being a dedication to her mother. She also has a Yello Tracks Premium LiveStream Concert that was released in 2022. She has recently collaborated with Stereo Thieves SA for a project that can be described as nothing short of spectacular. The project will be released in Spring 2025, and you can catch them performing their songs at a stage near you soon! Overall, she lives, eats, and breathes music and knows that this is what she was built for. As a person, she enjoys a good laugh and appreciates life. Her life motto is “Live Love” and she always aims to practice love in everything that she does.
