Born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Filter (ZA) is a self-proclaimed house music purist. With a strong passion for emotive and well designed sounds. Filter (ZA) draws inspiration for his sound from both dub and melodic influences. Growing up listening to a variety of genres, Filter (ZA) took an early liking to blues, jazz and reggae. These then influencing his taste in house, techno, dubsteb and drum and bass.
Disintegration Annex is a noise, ambient, and metal project headed up by Greg Kennelty. So, what exactly is a Disintegration Annex? Years ago, while visiting a family member in the hospital, I misread a sign in one of the hallways. I don’t remember what the sign actually said, but "Disintegration Annex" lodged itself in my brain. It conjures images of a place where people and things go to fade away — a place of total dissolution and redistribution of everything you are into the void. Whether that’s liberating or terrible is up to you.
Playa Shotz Delivers a unique mixture of sounds that captivates the listener to drift into a funky, lyrical and global sound that goes unmatched. Recently producing his music under his own imprint Star Dilemma Conglomerate. Playa Shotz born and raised in East Palo Alto, California a small town in the Bay Area between San Jose and Oakland. Through his years of growing up Playa Shotz also lived in cities like Las Vegas, Dallas, Shreveport, Jacksonville, Orlando & Atlanta. That’s definitely shaped his musical outlook. From creating music since 13-14 years old, Playa Shotz finally put it in motion to take it serious 2024 and is on a storm to consistently drop an album every two weeks. With his debut Album “HIM” entirely produced by 2Four that dropped February 17th 2024. Playa Shotz has kept his foot on the gas and continue to create feel good, life motion music. Albums following up to the original “HIM” with “HIM 2” but this time ENTIRELY PRODUCED BY PLAYA SHOTZ. This album has been recieving positive reviews with its singles, “How High”, “I Know”, “Play Me Featuring Nardean & Amber I” as well as Many more. Playa Shotz dropped an Album two weeks later that followed up to the EP “Make America Playa Again 1” with “Make America Playa Again 2” with the Hit Single that has been taking off with streams, “Baby Love Featuring Joseph Tilley & Kameron Glasper Produced By Playa Shotz”. LST da phunky child beginnt seine musikalische Laufbahn 1995 in Göttingen. Inspiriert vom 90'er Rap und Crossover gründet er zwei Bandprojekte. 1998 unterschreibt er den ersten Major Plattenvertrag. Während dieser Zeit, bis 2003, tourt er zusätzlich mit dem Musiker Kollektiv der deutschen Free-Jazz-Ikone Gunter Hampel. Er tritt 1999 der „s´DudiYo! Crew“ aus Kassel bei. Gemeinsam gründen sie wenig später Ihr eigenes Label "Rough Remarks" auf dem im Jahr 2000 sein Debüt Tape erscheint. Seine Texte repräsentieren ihn als Mensch und Künstler ohne ein aufgesetztes Image. Die Musik lässt sich am deutlichsten mit den Worten Boom Bap & True School Rap umfassen. Bis heute führt LST da phunky child das Label, hat zahlreiche Solo Alben veröffentlicht, Remixprojekte und Sampler initiiert, sowie Alben anderer Künstler digital und in physischer Form released. Als Konda Unstruct produziert er Electronica, Lo-fi und Ambient Sound. Er lebt und arbeitet seit 2006 in Köln.
