Hi, friends! I'm Dawn Yell, an Egyptian composer based in Sydney. Delivering energy and emotion through music while also spreading love and positivity is my passion. Eight years ago, I started messing around with music software, initially making remakes and remixes of my favourite songs, until I began making my own music. My journey began with an interest in house music, but over time, I started exploring other genres and subgenres, to the point where I could not pick a specific one to describe my music. My sound can range from techno to house to even fusions of different genres. Despite that, you will often hear an electronic element in my work. I enjoy experimenting, so expect a variety of styles, sounds, and ideas with each release. To me, the melody is the core aspect that shapes the entire piece; usually, everything revolves around it. The sound or emotion that comes from it depends on what I am feeling or the energy I want to deliver. I will always make music that speaks from my heart, hoping to inspire and connect people. I'll be uploading new music regularly, as well as recorded live sessions after every 2–3 releases.
