Stefan Benecke is a Berlin born, Zürich based musician and electronic music producer who has been active since the late 1990s. Since moving to Switzerland, he has steadily refined a signature sound that effortlessly drifts between techno, trance, ambient and experimental electronica, while always keeping his Berlin roots alive and letting them flow deeply into his music. Always melodic and deeply atmospheric, his work is shaped by analog synthesizers, obsessive sound design and the occasional field recording.Influenced by the early Berlin techno scene, Kraftwerk, Aphex Twin, downtempo and classical music, his tracks feel just as natural in a dark club as they do late at night through headphones. Over the years he has played DJ sets in underground venues around the world, channeling the same hypnotic energy that defines his productions. When vocals appear, they remain understated and poetic, quietly exploring themes of urban life, identity and the subtle dance between humans and technology. At its core, it’s simply electronic music designed to take the listener on a journey. Nothing more, nothing less.
