Artists: Learn To Forget

A punk power trio born in the 21st century, Southern California's Learn To Forget carries on the legacy of Punk/Surf/Indie/Garage/Psychedelic Rock and beyond. Born and raised in Southern California, it seems as though frontman Eddie Huante was predestined to fall into music. As a child he was always exposed to 80s and 90s alternative music from his parents, but it wasn't until moving to Long Beach and being introduced to Sublime by a friend that music seemed to become a very tangible goal for Eddie. The young artist soon took up both guitar and singing, with his guitar teacher always encouraging Eddie's own artistry and songwriting. Following in the footsteps of Jim Morrison, Eddie transferred to UCLA where he set out to forge his own career in music. It was at UCLA that Eddie's vision for a modern day punk power trio began to come to life, enlisting the likes of fellow students Beau and Paix to form a tight rhythm section that he could bounce off of. The group has since proceeded to unleash mayhem on the streets of Westwood and beyond, kicking off wild sets and introducing unsuspecting college students to good old fashioned mosh pits. Learn To Forget have just released their "Bluest Of Nights" EP, described by Earmilk as “sonically rich...indie pop meets surf rock,” and are currently working on new material. The future is bright for the young band, with Eddie at times all too eager to expand their reach beyond the college realm and into the surrounding LA area...

Artists: Always Her

Over the course of this last year and a half, Always Her has made significant waves in the Utah music scene. Their debut single “Silhouette (The Halloween Song)” and debut EP “My Brain is Carrying the World” has catapulted them into success, leading them to play the legendary Buzzards & Bees Halloween Festival in downtown Provo UT, going on a mini tour to northern UT and ID, and then going on tour to Albuquerque NM and the DFW area in Texas in December. Their most recent accomplishments include playing Battle of the Bands at Brigham Young University and winning an award for best crowd involvement, winning Battle of the Bands at Edison House, a private, members only clubhouse in Salt Lake City, and finally, being featured on live TV (Good Things Utah and Fresh Living). Their alternative indie rock is sure to spark feelings within you, whether that’s feelings of resentment, sadness, and longing for those who have wronged you, joy for those you love, and most importantly, feelings of healing and being able to move on to a better place. The topics may be more serious, but the band ensures that you’ll have a good time. Stay tuned with what they’ve got going on and what they’ve got coming up.
