Artists: Carson Arkade

Carson Arkade is a 22-year-old Canadian/American artist born in Fairfield, Connecticut. Arkade first made his mark during the covid-19 era as a producer in the New York drill scene. Spending countless nights going back and forth from Bridgeport, Connecticut to studios in New York City, he sharpened his craft behind the boards while contributing to the raw, emerging sound of the time. After playing Division I college football at the University of New Haven, Carson made the pivotal decision to move to Nashville in 2022, shifting his focus fully toward music while carrying his drill and hip-hop foundation into a new environment. In 2023, Carson rolled out his first two mixtapes, BOSS (SIDE A) and BOSS (SIDE B), marking a major transition to a full-fledged artist. Following multiple live shows in Murfreesboro and Nashville, Carson ultimately returned to Connecticut in 2025, refocused, to begin refining a more personal and experimental sound. His artistic shift became clear with the release of PLACES, which introduced a Toronto-influenced R&B direction. Building on this momentum, Carson released the mixtape, NOCTURNE, administered entirely by himself—making him one of the few artists today to independently compose a project. Recently, Carson rolled out his mixtape, RAP CITY PACK, followed by his EP, MONEY TEAM. Arkade plans to define a new sound for Connecticut—one deeply connected to his Toronto roots, musical upbringing, and ever-expanding creative vision.
