Choudhary Mohit Budania, better known as DanMohit, is a young artist creating music that speaks straight from the heart. Born in Alberta, Canada, he moved to India with his family at the age of 13, and that is where his journey truly began. Music started as a way for him to cope with depression and express emotions he couldn’t put into words. Over time, it became his purpose and his voice. Now 19, DanMohit has spent more than six years shaping his sound. He works as a producer, composer, mixing and mastering engineer, songwriter and singer, building everything from scratch on his own. Inspired by artists like Charlie Puth, OneRepublic, Internet Money and Punjabi powerhouse Karan Aujla, he blends different vibes and genres to create songs that connect with people on a deeper level. With his talent and practice he can do many voices because of all the vocal textures he builds, he can do around 50 voices. In 2024, he released his first single, and by August 2025, his first studio EP “Overdose” was out in the world. Along the way, singles like “Hopes” and “Tick Tock Tick” stood out for their emotional honesty and fresh sound. Each release is another step in sharing his story with listeners who might need to hear that they are not alone.
