Sala Bestia was formed in 2022. It's made up of Eric (guitar/vocals) and Michel (drums/loops), members of Revok, and Aurélien (bass/synth), the ex of many bands (Harmonic Permanent Drive, desicobra, schoolbusdriver, madeincanada, WSM, COHAAGEN, radiant....). Sala Bestia is a trio that combines its love of American indie rock (Low, Sonic Youth, Polvo, Dinosaur Jr, Grandaddy and many more) with synthetic loops, the noise of Shellac, Metz and English pop... Sala Bestia speaks but never shouts. She doesn't need to. She prefers to sing songs composed of verses, choruses and even bridges. A constraint she sometimes frees herself from, often with gritty melodies. Sala Bestia is not an ex-members' project. Sala Bestia is a band, and 'Plenty of Nothing' is its first album, recorded and mixed by Pierre Antoine Parois (drummer with Papier Tigre, Spelterini, La Colonie de Vacances) and mastered by Miguel Constantino (Peter Kernel, Centenaire, Marvin, Kimmo, Sincabeza...)... More soon. The band had the pleasure of sharing a stage with bands like FACS, Baratro, Jack and the bearded fishermen, Youff...
