Wisdom Ikechukwu Tsegofatso Obiefuna (born 16th March 2001), better known by his stage name GNGRR, is a South African musician, with a Nigerian bloodline. He is a singer, songwriter, rapper record producer and sound engineer. At the ages of 4-8, Wisdom would have play toy instruments, like xylophones and small pianos and a drum set, He would actually play those, almost all songs he knew, he played by ear. He heard and was inspired by the music of the likes of Michael Jackson, Ron Kenoly and Donnie McClurkin played every morning by his father. After Wisdom had released his last secular album called (a mother’s memoirs of her son), he had two gospel songs and then met El Tribus who fell in love with his work and this ignited the true zeal for the love of God to create music that glorified Him. Wisdom has been on 2 Spotify interviews on how he stopped making secular music and has been on Kofifi radio to spread the gospel. He has released 3 projects , namely “Alive in Christ” , “Thank you, Jesus” and “Jesus Party” and now has released his debut Christian Album called “Genres of Worship” with American artists to help spread the gospel even further, We give all the glory while doing it too. Wisdom believes that music can change a lot of people’s perspectives in life and how they make their choices in general. How much more if that music was sanctified and were messages about Jesus? He knows that His calling is for God to use him to bring souls into the Kingdom.
