mrnayed is a self-taught sonic artist whose expression touches on various themes revolving around the human experience, such as vulnerability, social injustice, sensuality, radical love, mental health, and not limited to romance. He uses sound as a vessel to convey his forms of expression. His creative process is a play exploring and experimenting with sonic elements as a form of creative, emotional, and spiritual expression. His first projects on his Soundcloud profile were made on an Android smartphone, looping sounds and adding vocals by recording using the microphone on his earphones. Improvisation has always been at the forefront of his creative expression. A testament that nothing can limit honesty and creative expression, whatever is expressed in whatever shape or form, is the utmost truth from the vessel, the artist. As an expressionist, he values authenticity, his style is a testament to his intuition & unwavering spirit of experimentation, an insatiable curiosity and a passion for sonic expression. His recent project, ‘colored sonics Vol ii’ is a time capsule of the state of the world, from within & without. The artist captures his internal environment in relation to the desolate state of the world. The themes explored in these pieces of sonic expression address social injustices such as genocide, bad governance which leads to the deterioration of living conditions among many others. Hi I'm a producer and jazz pianist based in Medellin and London, making anything and everyting Latin, Jazz, RnB and Hip Hop related.
Daruma is a musician, a producer, MPC head and sp404 player, beatmaker who loves finger drums, performance, busking and street art. His sound is always unpredictable, passing from gritty dusty boombap to triphop to drunken beats, laid back or chill beats. After many ep and albums released by himself indipendently he decided to work with labels as Vinyl Digital (Germany) , and he is part of the label and collective Beat's Tailors (Bologna, Italy) and collaborate with more collective as The Farseers (Budapest, Hungary) and with the trio Florence Lofi Sunset (Florence, Italy). Also he made a collab Ep with Empty Sentiment (Canada). He's part of the sp404 Italian Crew. He played a fundamental role in the Mercolofi, Vol. I, Mercolofi, Vol. II, Mercolofi, Vol. III project incipit made by Sasha Shinezz. Out of the hip-hop project he plays bass for a Ritmo con Seños band and he often play drums and guitar with friends. Currently based in Bologna ( Italy) ig: daruma_beats
