Poles Apart, previously named ShenanDoah (2003-2005) located in Jevnaker NORWAY had local success, playing concerts in all kinds of places, like pubs, discos, events and festivals. The Kloppstock-festival was a big local happening, where Poles Apart got to play for more than 3000 people. They made it to the landsbylarm-final in Stockholm in 2006 as one of the greatest achievements. They also got to record some tracks in the studio of one of Norways biggest artists, Jahn Teigen later on. They kept it going until approximately 2010. Espen is still making music under the name of the band after they split and the four now really are Poles Apart Contact: Espen MWH Boberg Phone: +47 90099285 E-mail: espenboberg@yahoo.no Poles Apart members: Torkel Olstad (Guitars), Per Hoelsveen (Percussion), Ivar Johnsrud (Bass/Chorus) and Espen M.W.H Boberg (Songwriter/Vocals/Chorus/Acoustic guitars/Keyboards) Check out Torkel Olstad Great musician! Wrenasmir used to be a baroque pipe organist before he discovered samplers and synthesizers. Now he makes imaginary soundtracks in his studio for the twilight beachside city that lives in his head - full of vinyl and pixels and bittersweet memories. Live performances in Singapore and Australia were followed by his tracks appearing on the Bathurst label and radio play around the world, championed by artists who have resonated with his unique approach to experimental composition ('Gorgeous and brilliant' - Funki Porcini).
The Lost Boys [SA] is the alias of SHMIKESSS and Wez Lew. This Cape Town-based DJ and Producer duo aim to curate a sonic journey across sound spectrums - from groovy, racey indie dance to uplifting melodics and downtempo to the deepest sexiest corners of techno. These best friends (who’re often mistaken as brothers), are a good-vibe duo who can light up any dance floor.
