Hey what’s up. My name is Malhuia. I was born in Southern California and currently based in Arizona. My family and I are Cora (Naáyarite), Yaqui and Apache. I am a classically trained musician who incorporates contemporary and native traditional elements into my production. I highlight experiences of being Mexican - Native through multi genres like hiphop, R&B, and alternative. My foundation is deeply rooted in “Danza Azteca”, NAC, and other ceremonies. These collective experiences of being Indigenous and Mexican American have shaped my creative vision in connecting with our community. My goal is to empower, celebrate beauty, and inspiring other natives to reclaim our space. My current work is self produced and independent so hit me up for collaborations.
