Parish was influenced by a multitude of musicians and artists from his younger years, growing up in Baton Rouge & New Orleans, LA. In Louisiana, he learned piano, violin, and was also in choir since he was 8 years old and has always been a huge fan of literature. His fascination for words led him to writing poetry and spoken word, which eventually led to writing songs.
