Konstantinos Stavropoulos (aka Stark) is a DJ and producer from Athens, Greece, with a career spanning over 20 years. Since 2002, he has played at gigs across Greece, sharing stages with legends like Marco Carola, John Acquaviva, and Danny Daze. Inspired by artists like Depeche Mode, Maceo Plex, and Bedouin, Stark blends electronica with afro and ethnic elements for a unique sound. He also hosts a show on Greece’s top electronic music radio station and has recently begun releasing music with his collaborator, Envoy.
a New Sled Space is the long-running DIY project of New England-born multi-instrumentalist & songwriter Taylor Andrew Parnell. In the early 2000s, Taylor fronted & served as the primary songwriter for Call Her Alaska & released solo material under the name Codeine Comely. These projects shaped his early work in the New England music scene. Since then, he’s written & self-released a catalog of over 50 releases spanning multiple LPs, EPs, singles, & covers that move between intimate singer-songwriter moments, ambient pieces, raw indie/folk-punk surges, & heavier post-rock/hardcore influences. Rooted in rough, home-grown recordings, the songs often start as live takes or loose improvisations, and then build up with harmonies, field recordings & instinctive overdubs. The imperfections are the point. They’re meant to preserve & honor the moment the music is born. a New Sled Space remains an independent, ongoing body of work.
