In July 2017, Yuta Yamada started DJ career under the name SANTA and plays in various genres, mainly House. In March 2020, he started producing Deep Tech/Deep House under the name Yuta Yamada and DJ sets based on these genres. He captivates audiences with his careful mixes and the way he plays with a smile from start to finish. Also, In November 2023, he established the Deep Tech/Deep House/Tech House label "Play Of Color" with Japanese producers Amps and MINT(JPN), and is focusing on activities to expand the Deep Tech/Deep House/Tech House scene. He is also putting his efforts into activities to expand the Deep Tech/Deep House/Tech House scene. He mainly plays at clubs in Tokyo such as Womb and OATH, but he is also expanding his playing field by playing at overseas festivals such as Defected Croatia and clubs in Croatia, Spain, France and Luxembourg. As an organizer, He also hosts the House Party "Be flat."
With his unique musical upbringing and experience, he draws inspiration from the late 80's, 90's with the Hardcore scene, then journeying through DnB and Jungle and later on in to Garage, while always loving House as well as RnB Soul and everything else, listening to a multitude of genre's and artists like Acid/Detroit House pioneers like Frankie Knuckles, Steve Hurley, Marshall Jefferson and Kevin Saunderson to Marvin Gaye, Alexander O'Neal, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Yazoo, Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Guns n Roses and Human League (and too many more to mention!) With this love, admiration and respect for all of what he listened too, now incorporates all these influences in to his DJ sets and as WeZ WhaTevR, he is adding his unique sound and style to his own productions.
