Afro Dominicano is a World Music band that centers its music into what We call Afro Caribbean soul. They blend traditional folkloric genres from the Dominican Republic Perico Ripiao, Palo, Merengue, Bachata with Reggae, Funk, Rock, and other African rhythms. Afro has completely impacted the performance art industry by breaking the barrier of Musical Genre; seamlessly entering and exiting them with grace and expertise. Afro Dominicano isn't just a band but a social movement, they believe in uniting individuals from all around the world through their music. Martin Sharp has been releasing top-quality house music for more than 30 years. Starting with his first release on the legendary Om Records label in 1993, he has had many more tracks featured on top labels including Hooj Choons, Cream, Zulu, Whartone, Om, Plastic Fantastic, Phonetic, Renaissance, Motive Records, Whore House, Jeepers! Music, Cleveland City, Inner Sense Music and Lost Language. Today Martin continues to release music on some of the best house music labels. As well as solo recording success, Martin's collaborations include First Life with Nick Hook; Paris & Sharp with Luis Paris; and Sharp & Krisis with DJ Krisis: • First Life released the progressive house classic 'Be One Of Us' in 1994 – which was massive for Sasha – as well as two remixes of Dum Dum's 'One Earth Beat' featured on John Digweed's Renaissance 2 album. • Paris & Sharp had a big club hit with 'Aphrodite' back in 2001, which was released on Cream and numerous compilations. It was a massive track for a host of top DJs – most notably Pete Tong and Seb Fontaine, who championed the track on BBC Radio 1. • Sharp & Krisis are currently smashing the house scene with a plethora of releases being supported by top DJs. Martin also continues to collaborate with his long-time studio partner Nick Hook on many fine releases - a partnership that has endured for 30 years.
Barely Focused is a Connecticut based Alternative Hip Hop duo comprised of 2 members (Matt & Jess) whose love for music brought them together in late 2022 to start writing and recording their first song Cold World - Single Version. They soon teamed up and started writing and recording regularly together. Matt (F.K.A. WRE) started recording in 2016 with his first EP Journaled Thoughts featuring his most prominent song to date Here's To The Night which reached over 50k plays on SoundCloud in the same year. Jess is new to writing and recording music but has been singing since she was 15 with a unique voice and a natural ear for melodies as she writes most of the hooks for the group. Hidden Gem is her most popular song to date. Barely Focused is currently working on a new studio EP scheduled for release later in 2025.
