SharDave is a musical duo and musical production team, both seasoned musicians, who have been working together as a musical team for around a year and a half. They are currently releasing high-quality, new unique songs regularly. The music is a fusion of folk, acoustic rock, and funk, with elements of world music, jazz and blues. It is highly original, poly-harmonic, organic, and unpretentious, yet totally accessible. The songs range across genre and include African and Latino influenced rhythms and instruments, and often, multi-layered acoustic guitar tracks and piano. Together, these permeate the music, resulting in a style that is unique, percussive, melodic and energetic. Shar's often profound and philosophically complex conceptions appear throughout the lyrics, which are motivationally themed around positive aspects of courage: facing fear, standing strong, valuing connection and freedom. Their primary aim is for people around the world to hear their music and hopefully to love it as much as they do. SharDave record and produce their music in the SharDave Music studio located in Gippsland, Victoria, and play live across a range of venues and ensembles. In addition to their own music, both Shar and Dave play with local community musical bands in Victoria (Australia), such as the Latrobe Community Concert Band and the Invy Horn Jam, the latter being a roving New Orleans style band.
