Gaussip is a fresh French product based at Toulouse and composed of two young passionate friends, the vocalist and producer OLX (Alexandre MERCIER) and drummer Corentin VAILLANT. The beginning of their journey starts all the way up to Normandie, North France, where the two friends met in high school in 2019. Really soon, their individual passion for music brought the idea of forming a band. They started practising music together directly at school and created their first single "New Fear" released in 2024, at Toulouse, their new home, switching from bedrooms to living room. They decided to take a chance on music, as they both see a future in art. From the vocals to the instruments and even the artwork, everything is homemade and this is their recipe. The core genres of Gaussip are rock and jazz music, but electronic and harmonic classical music sounds will be heard as the two members take their inspiration from the greatest, and always search for unique mash-ups. This is the beginning of a story that will grow as they do.
