Vinni Payne est un auteur-compositeur-interprète de 28 ans, originaire de Lac-Delage, Stoneham. Né dans le hip-hop et ayant commencé à écrire ses premiers textes à 14 ans, il évolue aujourd’hui vers un son plus indie/folk, porté par une sensibilité introspective et une esthétique profondément organique. En mars 2026, il dévoile son premier EP, La vie est belle, une sortie qui vient concrétiser cette nouvelle direction artistique. Même s’il a longtemps gravité autour de la scène rap, son univers musical prend racine dans les artistes qui ont accompagné son enfance : The Doors, les Rolling Stones, ainsi que les songwriters qui ont façonné son approche. Ses influences traversent les époques, de Mac Miller à des références plus actuelles comme Dominic Fike et Les Louanges. Son travail évoque parfois la douceur brute de Bob Dylan ou la signature narrative d’André “Dédé” Fortin. Épuré et ancré dans la nature québécoise, son style visuel s’exprime dans une approche simple, authentique et nostalgique, où la guitare occupe une place centrale. Vinni Payne écrit des chansons d’amour perdu, de transition et de renouveau, où se mêlent lucidité, vulnérabilité et espoir. Une musique qui cherche à comprendre, à apaiser et à reconstruire.
