The area around Parade park playground had various gangs: Crips, Gangster Disciples,Shower Posse.etc. particularly notorious for turf wars, and pitbull fights. Welcome to Flatbush Brooklyn, New York.From birth Rugga inherited two strikes, being black & fatherless Raised by a single mother.knowing the plights & struggles of becoming a “MAN” require the influence of a real active “FATHER.” Self-educated “READY TO DIE” mentality created a edge to Freddy Rugga so enabled him to develop superior street skills. Imagine living as a child in a homeless shelter.Then one day a well-known Harlem Rapper(Black Rob)visits your shelter. Black Rob looked Freddy Rugga in his eyes & told him “you got something special kid.” Five months later him & Black Rob were incarcerated ,both dreams got deferred.In 2006 he recorded his first mixtape aptly titled Ruggatime Volume 1 ,Freddy Rugga dropped his debut EP Loyalty & Money in 2016 street hustler’s anthems.
