Hailing from Denton, TX, artist Brian Zellmer, was first exposed to music by playing trumpet in band class for 7 years. He picked up a guitar in 8th grade and began writing music on digital staff paper workstations. He graduated from Belmont University and joined with a classmate to become a core member of Pepper Said, performing across the country in sold out shows such as Schubas Tavern and main stage at festivals like Mile of Music and Centennial Park West. Sonically, Kirkwood focuses mainly in IndiePop, though not bound by any genre, the energy delivered will be sure to translate seamlessly from track to track.
