DARWIN est un groupe de punk metal Rennais. Il se forme en 2011 dans les locaux de France Bleu Armorique, à Rennes, où travaille le premier batteur « né sous X ». Un premier EP sort début 2012 au titre Origin Of Human Deviance . Ce premier opus fait l'effet d'une petite bombe et le groupe retranscrit l'énergie intense aussi bien sur scène que sur enregistrements. Ils bénéficient du soutien de la radio Le Mouv' , alors très intéressée par ce groupe sorti de nulle part. Drapeau Noir sort quelques semaines avant le premier confinement en France (décembre 2019). Là encore, il reçoit un accueil très positif. Il faut dire que l'association avec Gwen Kerjan / SlabSoundStudio fonctionne à merveille, ce dernier s'investissant artistiquement auprès du groupe. En 2021, retour du bassiste Olivier Massé qui avait fait les beaux jours du trio sur scène pendant plus de 3 ans aux côté de Maël Reussard, jeune batteur à l'époque, surdoué derrière les fûts. Il recrute un nouveau batteur, sur les conseils avisés de Crass, (chanteur de Crusher et instigateur génial de Boost) Maxime Le Corre qui se trouve à l'autre bout de l'hexagone. L'Alsacien est passé par la fameuse M.A.I., tout comme Laurent et Nicky. Ils parlent donc le même langage et humainement, tout devient évident. Depuis 2022, le groupe décide de relancer concrètement la machine et prépare la suite avec dates et enregistrements. Visiblement, la rage n'est pas perdue.
Elysiane is a Belgian alternative rock band founded in 2019, blending pop-rock influences with the raw energy of acts like Linkin Park, Nothing but Thieves, Bad Omens and Storm Orchestra.
