Brent Hoffort is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter known for being a founding member of 90's Alt-Rock band 3 Penny Needle, as well as being the founder and principal songwriter for his own band My Own Machine, releasing two albums of material in the mid 2000s. He is also a member of the Alt-Rock duo The Sleeper Scene, and a frequent collaborator with former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Joe Holmes . His solo work showcases a wider range of influences, from long-form experimental instrumental pieces, to the tightly crafted compositions reminiscent of his earlier work.
