Manhattan inicia en enero del 2013 unidos por los mismos gustos musicales así como las experiencias vividas en la adolescencia. Después de varias alineaciones en la banda, en la actualidad la banda esta conformada por Nacho Martinez en la batería, Abraham Torres en la guitarra, Eduardo Rincon en el bajo y Luis Lopez en la voz y guitarra. Después de un largo tiempo en 2017 iniciamos a grabar nuestro primer ep "mi lugar" en seven records un sello independiente, producido por la misma banda para después en el 2018 distribuirlo en varias plataformas digitales con muy buena aceptación del público. Asi el sonido de Manhattan se caracteriza por sus ritmos de bajo y batería que te ponen a brincar y a bailar, acompañadas con unos riffs y armonias de guitarras.

Emmanuel Folorunso is a young man from Ekiti State, Nigeria. He started music while he was a freshman in the University for fun and gradually it became serious. “Although I was singing secular music for most of my years in the University, I always knew I had a calling to Gospel music. I joined the choir about 4 years later and I became addicted to singing for my Saviour”. His kind of music is a blend of different genres he listened to while growing up; Highlife, Hiphop, Rap, Afrobeats, Afropop and it gives him joy listening to himself put a gospel spin on these genres. “In short, I sing for Joy, I sing for Happiness and I sing for God!” Enjoy God’s own music!!
