Etherea is a Vancouver, BC alt metal band built on contrasts: softness and steel, silence and impact, intimacy and spectacle. Cinematic textures meet hard hitting guitars and siren frontwoman vocals that pull you under, then drag you back up louder. Their sound carries the influence of the bands that raised us while staying unmistakably their own, emotionally direct and relentlessly melodic. Etherea’s debut begins with “Trapped (Small Steel Box)” (out Jan 23), with more releases and live shows to follow.
