Artists: Alejandro Leibowich

Alejandro Leibowich is an Argentine composer, arranger, pianist, keyboardist, and prose and essay writer. He was born in La Plata, Buenos Aires. He grew up in the same city, always interested in what was then the City of Buenos Aires. At the age of 12, he naturally and vocationally began to explore music and writing. Later, with a classical background, he began studying piano and guitar, also playing keyboards and electric guitar, and taking on vocal duties and songwriting roles in rock bands from La Plata. While studying Fine Arts at the National University of La Plata (UNLP) and the Gilardo Gilardi Conservatory in the same city, he decided to study piano more seriously due to a focus on harmonic and conceptual understanding. Among his piano teachers were Elsa Carranza, María Laura Colaci, and María Guillermina Fa. He also studied Harmony and Aural Perception with Pablo Bucher, and at the university, he attended classes with Mariano Etkin, the head of Composition. There was a brief stint with Gerardo Gandini, who had previously held that position. He always showed an interest in jazz and modal traditions. Later, he focused much more intensely on literature, which he always used as both a weapon and a resource. In music, his interests are diverse, leaning primarily towards jazz rock. And in literature, his main interest lies in prose, especially short stories.

Artists: VICESofaHOOLIGAN

VICESofaHOOLIGAN started because I didn’t know where else to put everything I felt. It wasn’t a plan. It was pressure. Too many thoughts, too much emotion, too much meaning in things most people move past. Music became the only place where it could all exist without being filtered down. This project isn’t about being an artist in the traditional sense. It’s closer to documentation. A running archive of growth, collapse, clarity, love, fear, and reconstruction — captured in real time. Every lyric is written by me. The voices are artificial. That choice wasn’t about convenience. It was about honesty. There’s something brutally real about hearing your most human thoughts come out of something non-human. It creates distance, but also clarity. Like looking at your own reflection from a step outside yourself. In a strange way, the AI became a mirror. Not a replacement. VICESofaHOOLIGAN exists in that tension: real emotion moving through artificial vessels. A lot of the music comes from trying to understand intensity — not escape it. Learning how to hold depth without letting it destroy you. Figuring out how to stay soft without becoming fragile. Some songs are heavy because they needed to be. Others are warm because survival isn’t supposed to be all darkness. Love, grief, trauma, healing, identity, philosophy — it all ends up here eventually. Not because it fits a genre, but because it happened.
